On January 29th, 2008, Paintsville Elementary school visited the Challenger Learning Center of Kentucky, on a mission to find Comet Enke, a short period comet. Their mission was to first find Comet Enke, rendezvous with it, conduct several experiments on the way, and finally to build and launch a probe designed to study it once in range.
